Gerry Varteniuk
Owner and President

Having founded ILS in 1993, Gerry Varteniuk has successfully merged a unique understanding of business infrastructures and learning management to position ILS at the forefront of learning management systems and training. A product of Ontario’s community college system, Mr. Varteniuk has spent more than 20 years as an instructor, academic coordinator, and industrial training consultant. He has held such titles as Chairman of the Electro-Mechanical Department and Director of Continuing Education, Trades and Technology.

Through solutions both visionary and concrete, Mr. Varteniuk has fostered professional relationships with major global customers. His skills in business needs analysis ensure that every project is undertaken with the client’s long-range training and business development needs, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in mind. He also formulates and implements strategies to meet those needs, with his hands-on approach and exceptional problem-solving skills. He manages the design, development and evaluation of training curriculum including sales, service, management and technical training.

In addition to more than 35 years of training experience, Mr. Varteniuk has also completed numerous training and skills seminars, computer-based learning seminars, project management seminars and human resources seminars.

Under Mr. Varteniuk’s leadership, ILS remains on the forefront of optimizing technology for training and business systems.
